Calchaquí Valley enjoyed excellent conditions in 2022. The total rainfall was usual, 160 mm, with a very good crop in terms of both quantity and quality

During maturation, the work on the canopy allowed for a good circulation of air in the vineyard, which helped prevent botrytis from developing. At the same time there were many cloudy days which gave the fruit freshness and avoided sunburn.

The winemaking process, attentive to each detail, involved a double selection of grapes, slow fermentation with selected yeasts at low temperatures, and ageing in stainless steel tanks for two months before bottling in June 2023.

Frenchman Thibaut Delmotte is the mastermind behind this exquisite wine, employing a philosophy of minimal intervention. His expertise and dedication are evident in every aspect of the winemaking process, from the careful selection of grapes to precise vinification techniques.

Torrontés complements light dishes wonderfully, particularly seafood and fresh salads, enhancing flavours with its vibrant acidity and fresh profile.

The Estate Series Salta Torrontés is a shining example of Argentina's signature white grape variety. Thriving in high-altitude vineyards this grape produces subtle, dryer wines that are both aromatic and lively.

The Calchaqui Valley, one of the world's highest wine regions at 2300-3111 metres experiences intense sun and significant temperature variations. This leads to thicker, darker grape skins, contributing to wines with high intensity, rich colours, and concentrated aromas and flavours. The vine's slow maturation at these altitudes results in a distinct profile. Key varieties are Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Torrontes.
